Jam-A-Que 2012
The 8th annual Jam-A-Que was a huge success.....again! I don't think most folks realize how many people and how much work it takes to make this happen every year. I'm very grateful to ALL of my friends and the performers who showed up on their own dime, helped me with whatever we needed to get this off the ground and were there until the lights went out at the Nashville Palace. Thank you all so much!! Special thanks go out to JoAnn Nagel who managed to capture the entire day on video Saturday. You will find most of the photos taken the day of the JAQ and the; Pre-Jam party on Friday at CJ and Marcy Dubiusson's on Victor Smith's Facebook album and Rob Hickey's Photobucket album;. Thanks guys, that was a lot of work. "Coconut" Harley Lamoureux and Joe Bar-Nadav deserve a standing ovation from me for ALWAYS being there for us....you guys rock - love you both!
Chris Hicks was playing with The Marshall Tucker Band at the Opry that night. He stopped by the Nashville Palace in the afternoon to do a sound check then left to go do the MTB show. About 10:00 he returned to perform and closed out the show for the final jam. Thank you Chris, that meant so much to all of us!
The performers on Saturday at the Palace were:
The Don Ray Band
Brother Blood
Stone Blind
Monica Perry
Josh Sanders
Southern Fury
Chancy Willis
Justin Chain
The Chris Hicks Band with Pat Elwood and friends
Enjoy the show!
